Q1. How do you get the idea to write this book? The plan to write a book on ‘motivational quotes’ has been at the back of my mind. It was one of the books I wanted to write this year. At that time, I was in the midst of writing my first motivational/self-help book on self-esteem but then out of nowhere, I started to write this first instead  Q2. What was your inspiration to write this book? The ideas were from my experiences meeting with people over the years. With those I worked with, acquaintances, and friends. Both good and unpleasant one were triggers for me to share every layers from my perspectives. Most importantly, how I managed to handle every bits and pieces of it and then move on and forward to the next chapters. Q3. How long does it take for you to write this book? Ah... the first write-up, which is the first draft, it took me only about 7 hours. It was initially only 89 pages. Simple and straightforward kind of quotes which I had stored in my brain fo...

PROFESSIONAL BOOK REVIEWS OF BE BRAVE: UNCENSORED MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES | Author S.Sulianah | Grapholistic International

Image
Publishers Weekly Reviewer - BOOKLIFE REVIEWS Sulianah offers a compendium of original maxims, thoughts, and advice for readers eager for continual inspiration, with the promise that, even when the material gets frank or challenging, the author will resist the urge to censor. Sharing a few lines or even short paragraphs on each page on a host of topics, Sulianah urges readers toward self love and acceptance (“Believe in yourself even though others do not believe in you”), overcoming self doubt (“You can overcome anything in your life. The question is whether you want to”), and understanding and even exiting unhealthy relationships (“Do not make compromises when others devalue you as a person.”) The result reads like the advice a friend might want to offer to someone caught in an unhealthy relationship or situation but at times, out of politeness, might soft-pedal. No soft-pedaling here, though: “If someone cannot accept who you are, why are you desperate to be who they want you t...

CASE STUDY Rational and Dependent Decision-Making Styles | Project Manager | Human Behavior and Handwriting Analysis | HR and Management Series by S.Sulianah

Image
The following case study is an extract from my soon to be published book under the HR and Management Series. I am starting with the case study of one of the Project Managers whom I used to worked with for 13 years. I decided to choose this first is because of its significance in the thread for the other case studies. Other than that, it will be a comprehensive story with evidence from the long-term study in a business organisation setting. In this book and its case studies, the areas that I focused on are mainly on human behavior and how  a personal trait could influence the individual’s decision-making, thinking pattern, observation, communication with colleagues, perceptions, the way they speak, the way the think, outlook towards their personal goals and their credibility in a business setting. In addition to that, I had also used the science of  handwriting analysis  to study their characters, behaviors and possible cause and effect, if any, during the course of my obs...
