When companies plan employee engagement events, the goal is often the same — to bring people together, lift spirits, and create a sense of connection beyond day-to-day work. Over the years, we’ve found that one of the most memorable ways to do this is through handwriting analysis.

At first, guests are usually curious. “How can you tell anything from just how I write?” But as soon as we start reading their handwriting, you can see their expressions change — from curious, to surprised, and then to amused agreement. What makes it even more engaging is how their colleagues join in, teasing and laughing when they hear traits that match what they already know about each other. The whole interaction turns light, personal, and genuine.

We’ve done handwriting analysis for corporate events such as employee engagement events in Singapore and celebrations across different industries — from Mapletree, KBR, Mondelez, Daikin, Beam Suntory, to Hysek. Each experience is different, but the energy is always similar: warm, joyful, and filled with conversation.

At KBR, for instance, we were invited to conduct a handwriting analysis seminar which includes employees' individual handwriting analysis, where employees learned about personality traits through their writing. At large-scale celebrations like Mondelez’s event at Singapore Expo, hundreds of participants stopped by our booth — curious to find out what their writing reveals. Even in smaller gatherings, such as Hysek’s or Beam Suntory’s Chinese New Year events, the mood is just as vibrant.

Each analysis takes only a few minutes, but the effect often lasts much longer. We focus on the positive and constructive side of personality — confidence, empathy, communication style — because these are the moments that uplift. Unless someone asks, we don’t dwell on negative or unpleasant traits. The goal is always to leave guests feeling lighter, inspired, and more self-aware.

We’ve noticed that when it is an employee event, turnout tends to be higher than usual. It naturally attracts curiosity — people come forward to try something new, and before long, the room fills with laughter and friendly conversations. Many employees tell us afterward that it’s their first time experiencing something like this.

Whether it’s during the cocktail hour before dinner, or as an interactive booth before the main event begins, handwriting analysis adds that personal touch that makes the evening more memorable. It’s not just another activity — it’s an interactive handwriting experience that connects people to themselves and to one another.

After all, every handwriting has a heartbeat — and when we take a few minutes to study it closely, connections happen.
